Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Gazetted rank post, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology or Handloom Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a responsible position within a Government Department, Undertaking, or a reputed commercial concern in the Textile Industry.
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak Bengali is mandatory (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2024):
- Maximum Age: 40 Years.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates of West Bengal.
