Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

2. Age Limit (as of April 1, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years.
  • Maximum Age: 28 years.
  • Relaxations: Standard government relaxations apply (SC/ST: up to 10 years; OBC: up to 8 years).

3. Sports Qualification

To be eligible, candidates must have demonstrated excellence in sports through any of the following achievements:

  • Represented a State/UT/Country in National or International competitions.
  • Won a medal in the Junior National Championship or Khelo India Games.
  • Represented a University in Inter-University tournaments conducted by the University Sports Board.
  • Represented a school in National School Games conducted by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Salary & Benefits

  • Initial Basic Pay: ₹24,050 per month.
  • Starting Gross Salary: Approximately ₹33,020 per month (including DA, HRA, and other allowances).
  • Maximum Salary Scale: Up to ₹64,480 per month as per career progression.

Selection Process

The selection is strictly based on two stages:

  1. Shortlisting: Applications are reviewed based on educational records and sports achievements.
  2. Field Trials: Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical trials and skill assessments at a designated location. Final selection is based on trial performance.
