Job Description

The Railway Recruitment Boards have launched one of the biggest railway recruitment drives of 2026 for Technician posts. Candidates will be appointed in various Railway Zones and Production Units across India.

Technician Grade-I Signal

Candidates should possess any one of the following:

B.Sc. in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation
Three-year Diploma in Engineering
B.E. / B.Tech in relevant disciplines

Technician Grade-III

Applicants must have:

Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade

Matriculation with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 33 Years

Technician Grade-III

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

The recruitment process consists of three stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

Final medical fitness test as per Railway standards.
