RRC Central Railway Cultural Quota – Overview

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Central Railway has released an official notification for 02 Group C Posts under the Cultural Quota for the year 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online from 01 December 2025 to 30 December 2025 through the official website rrccr.com.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• 12th (+2 stage) with minimum 50% marks (50% not required for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen)
• OR Matriculation + ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT
• OR Matriculation + Act Apprenticeship

Essential Professional Qualification

• Percussion Instrument Player: Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Tabla, Dholak, Naal, Pakhawaj, Octopad, Mridangam, Acoustic Drum set, etc.
• Classical Singer: Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Classical Singing (from a recognized institute)

2. Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 30 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Govt. rules

3. Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible.

• Written Examination / Online Test
• Skill Test (Cultural Performance)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Application Fee

• SC/ST/Ex-SM/PwD/Women/Minorities/EBC: ₹250 (Refundable after attending exam)
• Others: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after attending exam)
• Payment Mode: Online – Debit/Credit/Net Banking/UPI
