Job Description

Bengal Iron Corporation (BIC) is seeking a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to drive product approvals and project specifications with MEP consultants, architects, infrastructure consultants, government bodies, and major contractors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Visit MEP consultants, architects, PMC firms, and government departments for product specification.
• Secure product approvals, vendor registrations, and BOQ inclusion.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, and municipal bodies.
• Conduct technical presentations, demos, and specification meetings.
• Track upcoming projects in water supply, sewerage, drainage, smart cities, and real estate.
• Influence decision-makers at early design and tender stages.
• Provide technical support on DI manhole covers, CI pipes & fittings.
• Explain IS, EN, ASTM standards, load classes, and installation practices.
• Coordinate with internal sales and production teams for quotes and order closure.
• Maintain visit reports, approvals, and sales pipeline in CRM.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 5–7 years of experience in construction materials or infrastructure product sales.
• Experience dealing with consultants, architects, or government departments preferred.

Skills Required

• Strong technical knowledge of DI & CI products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Project tracking and relationship management.
• Understanding of infrastructure and construction ecosystem.

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
