Key Responsibilities
- Lead team operations and assist the Regional Manager in implementing an improved Extension Model for Farmer Connect.
- Realign territory and vendor base based on operational model changes.
- Drive Storage Modernization Agenda, including Storage Net and Better Storage Protocols.
- Build and maintain relationships with local government officials, administrative officers, and stakeholders to support business sustainability.
- Assist in structuring the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the region.
- Ensure consistent, uninterrupted supplies of potato for processing plants on a month-wise and season-wise basis.
- Identify, develop, and sustain new and existing agro contract/non-contract farming pockets.
- Implement contract farming norms, seed sales, and vendor database management.
- Identify and develop third-party cold storage as per PIH norms and maintain long-term potato stocks.
- Ensure online accounting and documentation of materials stored in chip grade/seed as per SOX compliance.
- Identify key suppliers (farmers, traders, cooperatives, associations, NGOs) and maintain strategic relationships.
- Ensure discipline among partners and vendors while implementing company policies and standards.
- Own and drive the Engage Everyday CSR agenda to develop sustainable relationships with farmers and stakeholders.
Eligibility & Qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of agriculture input sales, procurement, or supply chain experience in sales, manufacturing, or processing setups.
- Proven experience in farmer engagement, negotiation, collaboration, and agricultural sales.
- Experience dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, farmer unions, and state agricultural policies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
