Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized medical professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV line placements, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, post-procedure care, and health promotion.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, senior nurses, and allied health professionals for seamless care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and nursing research.
- Stay updated with advances in nursing practices, technology, and hospital protocols.
Eligibility & Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing or GNM) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical or teaching experience.
- Experience in specialized departments (ICU, Emergency, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology) is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in nursing procedures, medication administration, and patient care.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
