Key Responsibilities

The TGT Maths Teacher will play a pivotal role in ensuring students gain strong mathematical foundations and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include:

• Deliver comprehensive lessons in Mathematics as per curriculum standards for secondary and senior secondary students.
• Develop detailed and engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student learning levels and capabilities.
• Incorporate interactive teaching methodologies, including visual aids, real-life examples, and practical exercises.
• Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, emphasizing improvement and learning outcomes.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Use technology and digital resources to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in school activities, workshops, and professional development programs to maintain pedagogical skills.

Student Assessment & Evaluation

• Designing written tests, quizzes, and assignments aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Providing timely feedback on assignments, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining grade records and documenting student performance.
• Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic progress and recommend remedial strategies.
• Identifying students needing additional support and implementing personalized learning interventions.
