Full Job Description
The CAD Design Engineer role at CCS is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in steel structures, reinforcement rebar detailing, piping fabrication, and Revit modeling. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality designs that meet industry standards and client requirements. This includes the preparation of 3D models, construction drawings, and coordination with project teams to ensure smooth project execution. The engineer will also be involved in Revit BIM processes to integrate multiple disciplines into a cohesive design environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed design drawings for steel structures and reinforcements.
- Create precise piping fabrication drawings aligned with project specifications.
- Utilize Revit and SolidWorks to model 3D components and assemblies.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant engineering standards and codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams for seamless implementation.
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all engineering and design activities.
The ideal candidate should have a diploma or B-Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Revit is essential, alongside strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
