  • Supervising mining operations in compliance with DGMS regulations.
  • Ensuring workplace safety and implementation of coal mine regulations.

Mining Sirdar
  • Carrying out mine inspections and enforcing safety measures.

  • Monitoring ventilation, roof support, and hazard prevention in mines.

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria Details
Age Limit Maximum: 32 Years
(Age relaxation applicable as per WBPDCL recruitment rules)
Educational Qualification (Overman) Diploma in Mining Engineering with valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 1957/2017.
Educational Qualification (Mining Sirdar) Diploma in Mining Engineering with valid statutory Competency Certificates recognized by DGMS to work as Mining Sirdar in mines.
