About the Opportunity

HPL Haldia is hiring an experienced Desk Engineer to support its power plant and utility operations in Kadamtala, Kolkata. The role involves monitoring plant systems, coordinating with field engineers, and ensuring safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant parameters and system performance through DCS/SCADA panels.
• Coordinate with field engineers for troubleshooting and operational support.
• Maintain daily operation logs and prepare performance/shift reports.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and operational standards.
• Support preventive maintenance and shutdown activities as required.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in power plant or utility operations.
• Hands-on experience with DCS/SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of plant monitoring and troubleshooting.
