Job Description

Plastochem India Pvt Ltd is hiring an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to manage sales and service activities for robotics, heavy earthmoving machines, and mechanical equipment used in the steel industry. The role combines technical expertise with customer engagement and requires frequent site visits.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle sales and service activities for robotics and mechanical machines.
• Manage client relationships within the steel industry.
• Provide technical demonstrations and product presentations.
• Coordinate machine installation, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
• Conduct frequent site visits to steel plants and customer locations.
• Support after-sales service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
• Experience in robotics or heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Sales negotiation and client handling skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in technical sales or service.
• Prior experience working with the steel industry is highly preferred.
• Male candidates preferred as per job requirement.
