Job Description

Amic Forging Ltd is urgently hiring General Maintenance Technicians for its industrial operations. This role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial machinery to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations. Candidates with hydraulic maintenance experience will be given preference for one of the positions.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare part usage.
• Work independently at plant or field locations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance work.

Additional Responsibilities (Hydraulic Maintenance Role)

• Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
• Maintenance of Bandsaw machines, Furnaces, Lathe machines, and VTL.
• Maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic leaks, pressure issues, pumps, valves, and cylinders.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of industrial mechanical systems.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Hydraulic system knowledge (for hydraulic role).
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance.
• Experience in field service or heavy machinery maintenance preferred.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site.
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
