About the Opportunity

AIG Buildcon Pvt. Ltd, located in Dankuni, Kolkata, is hiring a Graduate Electrical Engineer for its full-time maintenance operations. Freshers and experienced professionals are both eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical machinery & automation systems.
• Executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical panels, motors, VFD/Servo drives & PLC control circuits.
• Ensuring safe operation of HT/LT systems, switchgear & transformers.
• Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordination with production, mechanical, and safety teams for smooth operations.
• Maintaining logs, documentation, and audit-compliance reports.
• Adhering to LOTO procedures and electrical safety standards.
• Supporting installation and upgradation of electrical equipment.
• Vendor coordination and spare parts management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 2–6 years of experience in electrical maintenance (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong understanding of PLCs, motors, drives & automation systems.
• Hands-on experience with HT/LT systems & electrical panels.
• Knowledge of safety practices and industrial documentation.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdowns efficiently.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S, lean manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems.
• Experience with predictive maintenance tools (thermal imaging, vibration analysis, etc.).
