Job Description
EY is inviting experienced finance and compliance professionals to join its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team as a Senior SOX/ICOFR Consultant. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with expertise in Internal Financial Controls (IFC), SOX 404 compliance, Risk and Control Matrix (RACM), and internal audit processes.
In this role, you will work with global clients to strengthen financial reporting processes, improve internal controls, conduct compliance assessments, and support risk management initiatives. The position offers exposure to multinational projects, cross-functional teams, and international business environments while working in a flexible hybrid model.
Candidates will participate in end-to-end SOX implementation, documentation, control testing, remediation planning, audit support, and process improvement initiatives. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to client proposals, and supporting business development activities.

- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

- MBA (Relevant Finance Background)
- Any Graduate with relevant SOX/IFC experience may also be considered

- Execute SOX and Internal Financial Control (IFC) implementation projects.
- Conduct walkthroughs and evaluate internal business processes.
- Prepare Risk and Control Matrix (RACM), process narratives, and flowcharts.
- Perform risk assessments and identify key financial reporting controls.
- Test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify control gaps and recommend remediation plans.
- Support audit planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Lead project teams and monitor task allocation and delivery.
- Prepare compliance reports and communicate audit findings.
- Participate in business development activities and proposal preparation.
- Deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members.
