Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy: Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on breakdowns to reduce repair time.
- Inspections: Conduct daily checks on gearboxes, hydraulic systems, motors, EOT cranes, and furnaces.
- Inventory & Sourcing: Manage spare parts inventory and handle end-to-end procurement of mechanical and MRO items.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain ISO records, logbooks, and history cards while ensuring strict PPE and work permit compliance.
- Process Improvement: Lead energy-saving and cost-reduction projects through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Open to Freshers or candidates with 1–5 years of experience in Steel or Ferro Alloys manufacturing divisions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in rotating equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&ID, and GA drawings.
- Basic electrical knowledge (VFD, MCC panels, starters).
- Hands-on experience with vibration monitoring and equipment alignment.
